The Compagnietheater can be rented for meetings, activities and celebrations of all kinds. This historic building, which oozes atmosphere and culture, is centrally located in the city of Amsterdam. Formerly a Lutheran church, the building was converted into a theatre for Theu Boermans’ notorious theatre company de Trust by Mecanoo architects in 1995. Productions by Theu Boermans are still performed in the theatre today, alongside events and performances by cultural partners such as the Holland Festival, Freek de Jonge, the documentary festival IDFA, broadcaster BNN, the Grachtenfestival, IT’s festival and Het Nationale Toneel theatre group. 

The Compagnietheater has a large auditorium, two smaller spaces and a spacious foyer. With a maximum capacity of 700 people, these spaces offer a huge variety of options for use, either separately or in combination.
