SCHIJN is a coming of age of a young Moroccan boy who grew up in the Netherlands.

After touring for three years through Dutch speaking countries, now for the first time to be performed in English. In 2014, the play was selected for the Dutch Theatre Festival, and as 'best performance' of 2014 by the ‘Wijkjury’ Amsterdam.

Sometimes, you have to lie in order to be with the people you love. But how long can you pretend to be someone you're not? SCHIJN is a story about identity,  conscience and love.

Actor Fahd Larhzaoui tells his own life story and his quest to stay true to himself without losing his dignity or family.

Non Profit Kapitalist is the independent department at Likeminds, a foundation based in Amsterdam that enables socially relevant performances, by young professional theatre-makers.
